Every app has a single, clear purpose. We resist the pull toward feature sprawl. If something doesn’t serve that purpose directly — and only that purpose — it doesn’t ship. Simplicity is a discipline, not a default.
Your data stays on your device. We collect only what is strictly necessary for the app to function — never to build profiles, never to sell. Privacy is the architecture, not an afterthought.
We build tools that enhance your life without demanding a permanent place in it. No dark patterns, no engagement loops, no streaks designed to manufacture guilt. Open it when you need it. Close it when you’re done.

Eglois is an independent one-person studio. There is no team, no investor roadmap, and no pressure to grow for growth’s sake. Each app starts with a real problem — something I needed and couldn’t find done with the simplicity and honesty it deserved.
The name is personal. The work is intentional. The goal is a small, lasting portfolio of tools that stand on their own merits — private, focused, and quietly well-made.
We build for the Apple ecosystem: iOS first, with considered support for iPad and Apple Watch where it genuinely adds value. iCloud sync without account creation. On-device processing wherever possible. Not as a policy statement — just how good software should work.
